The Chastain School at St. John was designed by working parents to be a stimulating and engaging experience for children, emphasizing a curriculum filled with exploration and experimentation that goes beyond the traditional daycare and preschool. It is a fun, exciting environment that promotes discovery, learning and enrichment.
As working parents we know that the decision to have others care for your child is one of the most difficult, yet important decisions you have to make. With that in mind we’ve intended The Chastain School at St. John to be a “home away from home” so children can thrive and learn in a comfortable, fun and loving setting.
Studies have shown that the most important years of a child’s brain development occur between infancy and age five and we take that very seriously. Every aspect of our School is designed to stimulate a child’s senses in an educational way. Our curriculum is designed for children to develop their sense of self through play and interaction with their classmates, while also stimulating the natural curiosity of children and providing the educational foundation for Kindergarten and beyond.
Our goal is for children to leave the school with a well established sense of self-confidence and self worth through the achievements they made while attending The Chastain School at St. John.
