Ms. Kathy Evins

Kathy has 30 years of experience teaching and managing curriculums in early childhood development. She is a graduate of Miami Dade Community College and, since 1982, has worked in all functional levels of the childcare business from transportation coordinator to interim director.

Kathy joined the Peachtree Child Development Center in 1987 as a lead teacher and was promoted in 1997 to curriculum coordinator where she developed our field trip and cultural activities programs, established our Continuity of Care program and was appointed interim director.

In 2003 Kathy was promoted to her current role as our Educational Program Coordinator. Her responsibilities include hiring teachers and managing performance, weekly and daily class scheduling and daily operations of opening the school. She oversees the development of weekly curriculum, manages our teacher training programs and is continually evaluating our performance and curriculum to meet and exceed the NAEYC standards and expectations of our families.
